Ignacio Carreras founds Ignacio Carreras S.A. (IGCAR), the commercial birth of auxiliary products for the textile industry.
Start-up of the first factory in Polinyà.
Start-up of the second optical brightener factory in Huelva. Starts the commercialisation of products for the paper and textile sector.
Creation of IGCAR Mexico dedicated to the commercialisation of textile auxiliaries.
Entrance into water treatment.
Acquisition of the factory in Rubí. Entrance into the leather and construction field.
Entrance into the detergency and cosmetics sector.
Creation of IGCAR Perú, subsidiary dedicated to the commercialisation of IGCAR’s product range.
